Who are we?

Since 2002, Spondan represents the Bengali Community of Windsor and surrounding areas in Ontario, Canada. We are a small non-profit voluntary organization.

We organize events and get-togethers throughout the year and try to keep the rich Bengali Hindu traditions alive. We celebrate Bengali religious events like Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja, Poila Baishak, Bijoya Dashami, etc. We also arrange annual community get-togethers like Summer Picnic, Winter Holiday Party, etc.

We are a closely knit community of Bengali families from Windsor, Essex, Chatham in Ontario, Canada as well as from Detroit, Michigan, USA. We rely on contributions from our members in order to host such events. We also make regular donations for community development and charitable causes.
